She was a nine-time winner at Standford University during her collegiate period and then spent 17 weeks playing as the #1 Women's Amateur. Lee was awarded the Mark H. McCormack medal in the year 2019 and was the top-ranked female amateur in the final season. The following year, she made the switch to professional. McCormack medal for 2019, having finished this year with the highest ranking of an amateur. Lee was a hole-in-one four times and one albatross as an amateur. When she made her debut playing on the LPGA Tour, Lee had two top 10 results. She placed 7th at Kingsbarns Golf Links in 2020 at the AIG Women's Open. Lee took home the first LPGA Tour triumph at the Portland Classic in 2022. Lee devoted her victory to late Min, saying he called me a champ and believed in my abilities. This win is dedicating to her late grandfather Min, whom she claims always called me as a champion and believed in me. Lee was previously involved in the sport of soccer, taekwondo and figure skating. Lee also enjoys watching movies, singing in bowls and ski.
